Smashed Out

Ever since I've become an officer of the Davis Smash Crew (which is now an OFFICIAL club of UCD...surprisingly) I've been so busy with the club and school it's ridiculous. This weekend I've helped run two tournaments. Thursday's tourney was basically run by me which was fun at first, but not fun when the tourney lasts for five hours...So I was basically going back and forth gathering everyone's wins, studying bracket theory, inputting results in the laptop and COMPETING at the same time. Yes, it was very tiresome. The very next day I had to help run another tourney and...My goodness I can't play Smash anymore, haha! I never realized how much work the club is going to be.

This April we are planning a big regional tourney on campus which I'm excited about. A lot of NorCal's best are coming, so I hope that this tourney will be the start of a new series of awesome Davis tourneys. On Tuesday I have to meet up with the Davis Police to discuss tourney logistics. I suppose it's going to be something along the lines of how many people are allowed to be in the room at the same time...or something like that, heh.
